Light Structures, has during its existence always been engaged in internal and external scientific research projects. The width of scientific experience is now one of the company’s corner stones related to internal research and development.

FFI fiber optic sensor research

Light Structures was founded based on the fiber optic sensor research at Forsvarets Forskningsinstitutt (The Norwegian Defense Research Establishment), and active participation in Structural Health Monitoring R&D projects contribute to keeping our technology in the forefront, to our customers benefit.
